Location: Morro Redondo is located on Cedros (Cerros) Island, off the Pacific coast of Baja California. General overview: Morro Redondo is a bulk loading terminal situated at the SE extremity of Isla Cedros. There is also a small fishing harbour protected by breakwaters. Traffic figures: Approx 7,300,000t of salt and 130 vessels are handled annually. Load line zone: North Pacific Seasonal Tropical Area, Tropical Mar 1 to Jun 30 and Nov 1 to Nov 30, Summer Jul 1 to Oct 31 and Dec 1 to Feb 28/29. Max size: The maximum draught is 17.3m. Largest vessel handled: LOA 304m, 160,000DWT.
