General Description
Location: The terminal is located in position 10°31'N 101°16'E, offshore in the Gulf of Thailand. General overview: The terminal consists of the tanker "Benchamas Explorer", 186,500DWT, retro fitted as a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) system. The terminal handles the storage and transhipment of crude oil. Export tankers moor in tandem to the stern of the FSO and load via a floating hose. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: The max permissible size of an offtake vessel at the terminal is 110,000SDWT and the min size is 60,000SDWT.
