Location: Qeqertarsuaq, alternatively known as Godhavn, is situated on the SW coast of Disko Island, off the W coast of Greenland. General overview: The bay forms an inner and outer harbour with anchorage for large vessels in the outer harbour. The port handles general cargo and containers and remains navigable during the open season from Jun to Nov. There is heavy ice in winter when the port is closed. Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: LOA 90m.
