General Description
Location: Navegantes is a sub port of Itajai.
General Overview: The Port mainly operates refrigerated container cargo due to the state (Santa Catarina) having the biggest meat industry in Brazil. The Quay consists of 6 berths on a 900m (approx.) length. Cargo operations are handled through "Post-Panamax" container cranes, Transtainers, Reach Stackers and Mobile Cranes.
Fishing industry in also a main activity in the port.
There are plans for further expand the quay.
