General Overview: The Vizhinjam International Transhipment Deepwater Multipurpose Seaport is a project that commenced on December 2015. It's designed to handle container transshipment, multipurpose and break bulk cargoes.
Adani is supervising the construction of the 1st deep-sea water port, Mega Transshipment Container Terminal.
The main advantage is the central location and the natural draft of 20 -24m. By the completion of the project the hub will be able to handle over 7.5 million TEUs .
