Location: Wicklow port is located on the SSE coast of Ireland, approx 25nm S of Dublin. General overview: A well equipped port, with easy access, which is increasingly expanding. The harbour consists of berths along both banks of the mouth of the Leitrim River, protected by two breakwaters. Traffic figures: Approx 84,500t of cargo handled annually. Imports include timber, paper, steel, lead and coal. Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: LOA 110m, draught 5.5m, 6,275DWT.
