General Description
Location: Su Tu Den oil field is approx 80nm E of Vung Tau. The field is located adjacent to the Ruby field.
General overview: Su Tu Den Offshore terminal comprising the FPSO Thai Binh Vn, a central processing platform and 7 unmanned wellhead platforms (WHP). There are 3 subsea pipeline end manifolds (PLEM), 3 subsea electrical power cables and control system, infield pipelines and gas export pipelines (associated gas will be mainly on CPP and then exported ashore through 16 in. subsea pipeline). Partially separated gas and oil water will be piped through the infield and flexible risers to FPSO for final processing before export. Crude oil will be stored and offloaded from the FPSO.
Su Tu Den oil field is connected to the shore by pipeline and offtake tankers load from the turret moored "Cuu Long Thai Bien" FPSO (MV9), via tandem moorings and floating pipeline. The FPSO is operated by Cuulong Joint Operating Company. The FPSO Cuulong MV9 is a new-build FPSO with storage capacity of 1,000,000 barrels. Topside facility is provided with 65,000 bopd of oil handling capacity, 35 mmscfd of lift gas system and 82,500 bpd of water injection.
