General Description
Location: Santa Fe is situated 92nm above Rosario and 320nm by river from Buenos Aires.
General overview: The port no longer accommodates ocean going vessels, due to an embankment on the access channel. Mainly operated barge and reefer operations. There are plans to build a grain terminal at Parana river.
Berths:
- Basin No.1 (Obsolete)
Used to operate general cargo & containers. Only river boats moor now.
- Basin No.2 (Obsolete)
A hotel and casino replaced the grain elevator.

Traffic figures: Approx. 52,000t of grain is loaded on to ocean going vessels and 21,000t on to river barges annually. Approx. 130 vessels visit the port annually.
