Location: "Rang Dong" FSO is located in the Rang Dong oil field, approximately 70nm (132km) SE of Vung Tau on Block 15-2. General overview: FSO Rang Dong MV17 is bow turret moored in approximately 60m water depth and is designed to have a receiving capacity of 60,000bbls per day and a storage capacity of 350,000bbls. MODEC owns and will provide FSO operation services for the Rang Dong field for an initial nine year period with the option of one year extensions for a further five years. The FSO is moored at field with the external turret mooring system that consists of nine (9) anchor legs arranged in 3 x 3 groups, with drape chain and connected to drag anchor in the seabed in 56m water depth. FSO Production connected to WHP by subsea pipeline including crude oil and gas line. Load line zone: China Sea Seasonal Tropical Area, Tropical Jan 21 to Apr 30, Summer May 1 to Jan 20.
