Location: Road Harbour is situated on the S coast of the island of Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands, which are located 96km E of Puerto Rico. General overview: Tourism is the mainstay of the economy, with the yacht chartering industry and visiting cruise vessels being the major contributors. The capital of the island is Road Town. In Road Harbour there are 3 specific berthing areas: 1. Port Purcell, the main cargo port section of Road Harbour 2. Wickham's Cay 1, where the main cruise pier is situated 3. Road Town jetty, the Ferry and mini cruise Terminal. There is a tanker pier and 2 offshore mooring berths for oil and gas tankers at Baughers Bay.
