Location: Girassol Terminal is located approx 210km NNW of Luanda and 75nm from the nearest shoreline. General overview: The subsea production system lies in 1,360m of water and provides for 40 wells, 23 production wells, 14 water injection wells and 3 gas injection wells. The FPSO with a storage capacity of 317,300t, can handle 31,780m³ of crude oil per day. The installation is protected by a zone prohibited to navigation and fishing activities. Access to the prohibited zone is authorised exclusively to service vessels working for or otherwise authorised by Total E&P Angola. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: SBM: Accepted tankers range from 80,000-400,000DWT. Tandem: 200,000DWT. There is no maximum permissible draught on the terminal of Block 17. The Master must observe international regulations on freeboard marks.
