Location: Gamba Terminal is located approx 185km NW of the Gabon/Congo border. General overview: The terminal consists of a tank farm and a SBM some 5nm offshore, is used as the export facility from the Gamba/Ivinga and Rabi/Kounga oil fields in Gabon. A restricted area, 4 miles in diametre, extends up to 7.5 miles SW from the coast and encloses the offshore loading facility. Vessels aren't allowed to enter this area without prior permission from the terminal. Fishing is also prohibited. The designated anchorage area, with a depth of 25m, lies about 2 miles NW of the SBM.
