Location: Fenit is an expanding small port, well protected and situated in the SE corner of Tralee Bay on the W coast of Ireland. General overview: The port which has good cargo handling facilities is the only commercial port on the SW coast of Ireland. The chief exports are Liebherr cranes. Traffic figures: The port handles approx 20 vessels annually and exports approx 10,000t annually. Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Draught 6.5m. LOA 122m (up to 150m with tug).
