General Description
Location: Espoir Field Terminal is located off Cote d'Ivoire, W Africa Gulf of Guinea, in block CI-26, approximately 10nm S of Jacqueville and 32nm SW of Abidjan. General overview: Espoir Field Marine Terminal (05°02.4'N 004°27.1'W) in 110m depth of water, consists of 7 wells with exploration wells on Emien and Acajou. The terminal, operated by Canadian Natural Resources Ltd, Petroci Holding and Tullow Cote d'Ivoire Ltd, has a wellhead platform that feeds the FPSO tanker "Espoir Ivoirien". The FPSO with 1,160,000bbls storage capacity tranships oil via shuttle tankers, and gas by a 10nm subsea pipeline for generating electricity in Abidjan. Traffic figures: Produces 40,000bbls crude oil per day. Gas compression capacity is 1,698,000m³ per day. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: Vessels up to 350,000DWT.
