General Description
Location: Bohai Peng Lai (FPSO), also known as Bohai PL-19-3 Terminal, is located about 50nm NW of Penglai, at the entrance to Bohai Bay. General overview: The terminal, which is moored in a water depth of 26.2m MSL, consists of the 57,600DWT FPSO "Ming Zhu" converted for the offloading of crude oil from Peng Lai Oil Field. The FPSO is moored at the bow to a fixed tower by means of a soft mooring yolk that allows the FPSO to weathervane through 360° and gives full freedom for pitch and roll. Lifting tankers berth alongside the FPSO. Load line zone: Summer. Max size: LOA 195m. The terminal will normally accept lifting tankers between 24,000 and 36,000DWT. Tankers up to a max of 50,000DWT will only be considered under special circumstances and conditions.
