Location: Located in the Bay of Fundy on the New Brunswick coastline, approx 80km from Saint John. General overview: Beaver Harbour is an inlet between Quoddy Head (44°52'N 062°24'W) and Beaver Point, (44°52'N 062°24'W), 2.25nm WSW. Salmon River flows into the head of the harbour E of Macleod Point. There are two Public Wharfs in the harbour and fish products are exported. Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Area. For ships over 100m in length, Winter Dec 16 to Feb 15, Summer Feb 16 to Dec 15. For ships of 100m or less in length, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: LOA 113m, draught 6.7m.
