Location: The port of Bayside is situated on the Saint Croix River which forms the boundary between SW New Brunswick and the United States (Maine) 11km N of St Andrews, New Brunswick. General overview: General cargo including food stuffs, lumber and wood pulp is handled. The port operates all year round and is ice free. Traffic figures: Approx 50 general cargo ships visit the port annually. Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Area. For ships over 100m in length, Winter Dec 16 to Feb 15, Summer Feb 16 to Dec 15. For ships of 100m or less in length, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: LOA 210m; draught 10m.
