General Description
Location: The Abu Cluster is situated 320km off the NE coast of the Malaysian peninsular in the South China Sea
General overview: The Abu Cluster was operated by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd and had a Satellite Platform, Abu A, and the FSO Abu.
The FSO was turret moored at a water depth of 60 m, and the export vessel moored in tandem with the FSO for loading via a floating hose on the port side.
However, there are no service facilities available at this location.
The FSO Abu was demobilized in September 2016 after nine years at the site.
