General Description
Location: Praia da Vitoria an artificial harbour, is situated in Baia da Praia Vitoria. The Praia da Vitória Marina is located on the far eastern corner of Terceira Island, in the Archipelago of the Azores.
General overview: The port is a supply line for Lajes Air Base (2nm NW), comprises commercial quays and is also a minor fishing port. The marina is protected by the Northern and Southern jetties of the bay in the city of Praia da Vitória. The port has a pier with 500 m length, deployed by two alignments almost at right angles, a 300 m long with elevation (-12 ZH), "parallel" under the pier, and the other with an elevation 200 m (-10 ZH) following the E-W- direction.
